Jefferson’s is a new family sports pub/restaurant in Madison, located at 7193 Hwy 72. They are open 7 days a week.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is what you would expect from a Sports Restaurant. The quality of service and food is well above average, especially for the value represented.
I encourage you to give them a try.Read More
Shane’s Rib Shack is located at 4800 Whitesburg Dr, next to the Bonefisf Grill. It is in the vein of the not quite fast food establishments where you order at a counter, then they bring the food to you.
I had the Sampler Platter, which included 4 ribs, pulled pork, 2 tenders, fried okra and baked beans. The entire meal was very filling, although across the board bland. The pork and ribs lacked any smoke flavor, and the chicken tenders, well they are chicken tenders, hard to mess up.
They offered four sauces, Original, Mustard, Spicy, and Hot. The Original is a vinegar-based sauce, with a sweet back taste, over all very tastey. The Spicy and Hot taste similar with addition of additional black pepper to the Spicy, and possibly chili pepper to the Hot.
Overall I found the food to be very midd...Read More
For those of you that ride bikes, Knuckleheads throws the best bike night in the area. They have always been biker friendly, and cater to those of us that prefer two wheels. That could easily come to an end because we are in the winter weather, and a lot of us forget during the cold who has our backs, and always supports us.
I would suggest, bring your group, club, or just friends to Knuckleheads. They always have us, and always take care of us.
Just saying.Read More
This Friday and Saturday (Jan 18&19) Katie Morgan will be at the Wild Cherry Cabaret. She will have shows at 10PM and Midnight each night.
You probably know Katie from movies like “L!fe Happens“, “Shoot the Hero” and “Zack and Miri Make a Porno“, as HBO’s sexpert in the “Katie Morgan” specials, or her podcast “Having Sex with Katie Morgan“. Katie is also a force in almost all facets of social media. She is one of the few that has made the leap from strictly adult entertainment, or as she simply puts it “porn”, to mainstream media, and is thoroughly entertaining, being intelligent, funny, and let’s face it, sexy.
If you are wondering what to do late night this week, the Wild Cherry Cabaret should really be at the top of your...Read More
The 3rd annual 3DD/Better Life Foundation “Ride for a Cause” took place November 17th in Tunica, MS and was a huge amount of fun. The ride (promoted by the Dixie Thunder Run) started Saturday morning at Southern Thunder Harley Davidson in South Haven, MS, and ended at the Roadhouse Casino in Tunica. This was followed by a lunch/social which included an awards ceremony. Great food and people equaled a great time.
The day was closed out at the Horseshoe Casino next door with a concert. The show was opened by Anna Morgan, was followed by Daughtry, and closed out with 3 Doors Down. Talk about a full evening. I’ll definitely attend again next year.
The mission of the Better Life Foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter, and medical assistance, an...Read More
(from our valley events) ZZ TOP a/k/a “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” lays undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact after more than 40 years of rock, blues, and boogie on the road and in the studio. As genuine roots musicians, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard have few peers. Billy is widely regarded as one of American finest blues guitarists working in the rock idiom...
